Slide Feeder - Primate Enrichment System

The Slide Feeder engages the primate’s curiosity through puzzle-solving and food enrichment. Treats are loaded from the top.  The Slide Feeder provides cognitive stimulation and satisfies the desire to forage by encouraging the user to manipulate treats through the maze until it falls through the exit hole. The Biscuit Feeder is part of the Primate Enrichment System (PES). It attaches to cages and enclosures with the Universal PES Bracket. The bracket makes it easy to insert a variety of enrichment products, like the Activity Panel and Beaded Curtain.  The Slide Feeder provides environmental enrichment in any enclosure including animal transportation, laboratory settings, veterinary enclosures, and zoo habitats.  It is a favorite primate enrichment product with curious monkeys and apes, including tamarins, capuchins, marmosets, macaques, langurs, orangutans, gibbons, and chimpanzees. All PES components are autoclavable making it easy to maintain hygiene and IACUC standards in laboratory settings.
