To ensure cleanliness and safety, all NaturalNest squares are irradiated* at 25-50 kGy, making them suitable for regulated vivarium environments without introducing contamination risks. 

Their lightweight, easily fluffable form allows for high volume with minimal material-ideal for efficient cage setup and animal enrichment.
