NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION

• Bring water to boil in kettle, on stove or in microwave. Pour water into a bowl and immediately stir in powder (1 part powder to 2-3 parts water by volume). Let cool or pour into a mold. Gel sets at room temperature. Cut into pieces or slow release jerky. Can also be offered as a slurry or paste. Offer ad libitum.
• For Jerky: Prepare gel as above, pour into deep container, and then cut gel into ¼ inch thick slices of desired size. Completely dry in Oven or Dehydrator at 150 °F (65 °C) (8-12 hours typical). 

Storage Conditions:

• Once made, gel should be treated as fresh food and can be sealed and stored in refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freezer up to six months. Refrigeration will extend the freshness.
